OUR NAME
Jesus was clear about what it means to follow Him.
He called His followers to love God fully—heart, soul, and mind—and to love their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:37–39).
He also entrusted the Church with a clear mission: to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach people to live in obedience to His way (Matthew 28:19–20).
At Mission Shift, we believe that many churches in decline have not lost their faith—but they have gradually lost their engagement with this mission. The reasons for that disengagement vary from church to church, but the need is the same. We exist to help churches make the shift so that God’s mission once again becomes central to the life, priorities, and practices of the church.

About Us
Mission Shift exists to walk alongside local churches as they seek renewed health, restored purpose, and a bold, faithful witness to Jesus Christ. Our role is not to take over a church’s ministry, but to help leaders discern next steps and accelerate the restoration necessary for lasting revitalization.
Many churches find themselves stuck—losing momentum, participation, and community influence. In these moments, renewal often requires reexamining ministry structures, leadership patterns, and how the church engages its context. True revitalization calls for more than minor adjustments; it calls for courageous, intentional change so the church can once again live fully into God’s mission in its community.
