Mike has been involved in full time ministry in the church since 1990. He was ordained as a Salvation Army officer in 1997. Since 2001, his ministry has focused on church planting and church revitalization. Mike's academic studies have focused on Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, and Practical Theology earning him a BA, MA, and PhD.
Mike and Karen were married in 1987 and have three children - Becky (Peter), Joel, and Jessica (Phil). They have also been blessed with four amazing grandchildren - Jeddah, Hadley, Rhett, and Rhylo.

Karen has been a church planter and revitalizer since 2001. Her area of expertise is in revitalizing worship and systems within a church. She has a passion for social justice and is currently the Associate Secretary on Justice and Peace at Canadian Council of Churches. She is an ordained minister with The Community Christian Fellowship Church of Canada.
One of the joys of her life is her family - husband Mike, children Becky, Joel, and Jessica, son in laws Peter and Phil, and the grandchildren who call her "nana": Jedda, Hadley, Rhett, and Rhylo.
